Who we are

Masseria 45 was born with the aim of bring traditional products to the table. The choice of the I number 45, in our name, means, in the Neapolitan grimace, “The good wine”, handcrafted, already 2000 years ago, in ancient Pompeii, where the wine was left in large amphorae for up to 25 years to obtain a product of great value and importance.

In ancient Pompeii, Piedirosso was produced, with sweet notes of honey and ripe fruit, with grapes harvested in the fields of Pompeii and neighboring towns. In Roman times, where the grapes were harvested, the product was given a name that was being prepared, such as “Aglianico”, “Lacrima cristy”, “Piedirosso”, “Falangina” and other similar names.

Our products are the result of acareful selection of raw materialsavoiding the use of pesticides. Our wines are completely natural and are subsequently transformed into wines I.G.P e D.O.C.G.
